Pessimist In Love

What is this I feel?
I just can’t define
If it’s wrong or right
I wouldn’t have mind

My heart just pounds
And my palms would sweat;
My words are a stutter –
And I cannot think straight!
They say it’s the love bug
Which has bitten me – at last
but I just call it a stupidity –
That makes life more hard

But as they say – IT conquers all
I guess I can prove it true
That despite how pessimistic I am
I have been smitten by you
